Capital Automotive is a very professional shop providing quality work. I had a 9:00 am appointment for my vehicle to get a scheduled maintenance oil change. I dropped off the vehicle. I received a text message about 10:00 am stating the inspection was done and they provided a link that showed everything they found including pictures. The items that needed attention had a box under it so that I can click and check to approve the additional work be done. There was a link with the estimate for all the work that needed to be done so I knew how much it would cost before I approved the work. After approving the work, I received a text the car was done about 12:30 pm. I really like the system they have to communicate through text/email with the customer and providing pictures and quotes in advance of approving work.

Cap Auto in Carson City is very professional and organized, testing before work recommendations is thorough, photo evidence offered where helpful to visualize problems, phone messaging offers work authorization list & options to accept or delay work, work and parts are high quality, work prompt, you know exactly what was done with record of it. This shop instills confidence, tech is very courteous without pushing, offers options without stacking the bill. High recommendation!

My truck came out of Warranty and the dealer raised their labor rates to an absurd rate of $265 or $285 and hour. I went looking for a good place to take my truck and found Capitol Automotive. I found them to be very competent, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. My wife's car came out of warranty also so both will be taken here for repairs and maintenance. In todays world we need more businesses like this.
