Had some trouble with my truck. I had it towed from another shop who couldn't do the work (not their fault...it's a diesel) to Capitol Automotive in the late morning and spoke with John. He was very professional and courteous, saying they would probably be able to take a look at it the next day and let me know what the results were from the diagnostic. They must have fit it in later that same day because just before 8:00 am the next morning I received a text from Capitol Automotive with a link to a website showing me the results. This gave me the services they felt were mandatory (with a couple different options), pictures of multiple things they checked, and a few other service options that were suggested as well as the associated costs for each service! This system is VERY well done and a great set-up in my opinion. I approved the services I wanted and declined the services I didn't. Easy. I called Capitol Automotive shortly before 9:00 am to see if they could get the parts in and work done in the next couple of days and was delighted to speak with John again. John said they were expecting the parts and would do their best to get it done by this afternoon! Although I don't have my truck back yet, I wanted to get this review out there because of the great service so far. WELL DONE! Gave a 4 star because the work hasn't been finished yet - If I get my truck back and the work is done correctly, definitely will update and be a 5 star. UPDATE - Got my truck back and got to speak with John in-person. Very friendly and professional. I appreciated the extra care and time they took for my vehicle. Updated to 5 stars.

John is knowledgeable and answered my questions. I saved money over the dealership doing the work, and received premium parts.

I am a Certified ASE Automotive Master Tech, retired. I am pleased with the work you have done on my vehicles. However your pricing is very high. As an example you quoted me $68.26 to replace my air filter. I can buy the air filer for $25.00 max at any parts store. So you want $43.00 for labor. I did it myself in 5 minutes. There are just 4 screws and the filter is in and out. When my vehicle was there you took the filter out to show that it was dirty and you still wanted to charge me for labor to replace it. I know you need to make a profit, but things like that are not fair.

I added a 2in leveling kit to my 2014 RAM 2500 mega cab cummins pickup truck, installed myself. Also installed an aftermarket drag link, in which threw off the alignment (camber/caster specifically). I was referred to Capitol Automotive by a good friend of mine, figured it would be worth a shot. I dealt with John (front service desk), he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and easy going/laid back personality. Tony, service technician who performed alignment adjustments on my truck was great! Very quick to the point, no bs. I informed both John & Tony exactly what I wanted, and they performed as they said they would. Alignment was back within specs within 1hr (before/after sheet provided) vehicle was test drove to confirm all ok, Tony explained the process he completed and asked if any further questions. Impressed with this shop, as I rarely take any of my vehicles in for adjustments because I don't trust many shops. Highly recommend! Thank you again!
